These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of College Prep Path (“College Prep Path,” “we,” “us”), an SAT and ACT preparation service operated by Ashton Dirks, an individual (sole proprietor), at collegepreppath.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use College Prep Path
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must be aware of and approve your account, and an adult (18+) must be the account holder for any paid subscription — minors may not enter into a paid subscription. By accepting these Terms on behalf of a student, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian and have authority to do so.
Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Parent and student accounts may be connected (“Parent Mode”) only when both parties consent; a connected parent or guardian may view the student's progress and manage the subscription.
The Service & your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the Service for your own test preparation. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, scrape, or share our lessons, questions, or other content, or use the Service to build a competing product. Some content is generated with AI and is provided for study purposes.
Purchased downloadable materials
Printable study materials — the personalized workbook and subject packs — are digital products licensed to you, the purchaser, for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You may download and print copies for your own study. You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, publicly post, upload, or otherwise make these materials, in whole or in part, available to anyone else, and you may not remove any copyright or other notices from them. Each purchase is for a single user, and downloaded files may contain information that identifies the purchaser. These materials remain our intellectual property; your purchase grants a license to use them, not ownership of the content. Violating these terms may result in termination of your access without a refund, in addition to any other remedies available to us.
Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
- The diagnostic, skill map, and a study-plan preview are free. The full program is a paid subscription at $19/month or $99/year.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges through our payment processor, Stripe.
- You can cancel anytime from your Account; access continues through the end of the paid period.
- New monthly and annual subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial; your card is not charged until the trial ends, so cancel before then to avoid any charge. After the trial, payments (including renewals) are non-refundable — cancel anytime to stop future charges.
- Printable study materials (workbooks and packs) are digital downloads and are non-refundable — all sales are final.The “Everything” bundle includes non-refundable print, so it cannot be refunded in full; only the program portion is eligible. See our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices going forward; we'll give notice and any change applies to future billing periods.
No score guarantee
College Prep Path is a study tool. We do not guarantee any particular score, score increase, admission outcome, or result. Your results depend on many factors, including your own effort.
Not affiliated with the test makers
College Prep Path is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board or ACT, Inc. “SAT” and “ACT” are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the tests we help you prepare for.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity; no attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access; and no sharing of your account with others.
Intellectual property
All content and software in the Service, except your own data, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the information you submit.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, College Prep Path will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold College Prep Path harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, by notice. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
